Last month we launched our new ORA website. This is a culmination of many months of work and planning.
This project included migrating our website from ExpressionEngine to the most commonly used platform, WordPress. It gave us the opportunity to refresh the style and format of the website, reorganize the content, and add new information.
An enhanced members section and a peer mentor forum were introduced. Event registration for the ORA annual meeting was integrated into the new website too. Furthermore, we moved the online newsletter to the main ORA website. The goal of these changes was to offer a more informative, responsive and engaging experience for ORA members.
From my point of view, this new consolidated website is also more secure and easier to manage. It has more tools to update content and the flexibility to add more features in the future. The new platform provides a good long term solution for us to communicate and interact with our members.
I encourage everyone to make it a habit to visit ontariorheum.ca regularly to see all that it has to offer. We are constantly updating it with new information to ensure that it remains useful and relevant.
If you have any feedback or suggestions for the new website, please let us know. Otherwise, I hope to see you at the annual meeting next month.
