Calling all Ontario-based medical students to join us for an interactive opportunity to learn more about the specialty of rheumatology.
The Ontario Rheumatology Association (ORA) is hosting a special day for medical students who are interested in learning more about this specialty.
Additional Information:
- Up to 5 registrants in Year 1 or 2 may apply from each medical school on a first come first serve basis (Queen’s University, NOSM University, University of Toronto, Western University, University of Ottawa, McMaster University, Toronto Metropolitan University).
- The deadline for registration is Friday, August 15th.
- Transportation subsidies and overnight accommodations at a local hotel will be offered to registrants who live outside of the GTA (London, Kingston, Ottawa and Sudbury).
- This is a full day event. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
- The ORA is pleased to fund this event in order to make it available to interested medical students. We hope you fall in love with rheumatology!
Learning Objectives:
- Gain exposure to and learn about a career in Rheumatology
- Develop clinical skills and an approach to diagnostics in Rheumatology
- Network with current Rheumatology residents and staff
