Thank you for reading the Winter 2020 Newsletter. I am excited to tell you about what has happened, since our last update.
We have a new Membership Perks section on our website! As a member of ORA, you now have access to group discounts at several businesses for accommodations, services and attractions. You can find this section under “My Account”, after you log in with your password. We are just getting started, so please let us know if you have any suggestions for more perks we can add.
We have a new EAP form for Giant Cell Arteritis available on our website under the EAP section. This took several months of work with the Ministry and numerous revisions to perfect this form! The ORA creates EAP forms and provides these forms to clarify approval criteria and to expedite approvals. Our website will have the most up-to-date forms.
There has been much talk about Biosimilar Transitioning in Ontario. We have added educational resources on our website, including links to useful information for yourself and your patients. This is available here: https://ontariorheum.ca/biosimilar-transitioning-guidelines-and-educational-resources
We will be adding more content as things develop so keep checking back.
