Our theme this year is “Optimizing Rheumatology Practice in Ontario” We are preparing an agenda that is sure to deliver a wealth of learning opportunities!
We are pleased to welcome internationally acclaimed Rheumatologist, Dr. Jonathan Kay (Professor of Medicine, Timothy S & Elaine L Peterson Chair in Rheumatology, Director of Clinical Research; University of Massachusetts Medical School) who will deliver a plenary session and host an interactive ‘Meet the Professor’ workshop. Equally exciting is the participation of renowned Autologous Stem Cell Transplant expert Dr. Harry Atkins (Associate Professor of Medicine; University of Ottawa, Scientist; Centre for Innovative Cancer Research, Medical Director; Regenerative Medicine Program at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute) who will lead a plenary session and workshop.
Continuing with our interactive workshop format, this year will feature a unique and full range of topics including a session on Informatics, CTD & the Lungs, Patient Adherence, Office Management, Advances & Controversies in Pain Management, eConsults/OntarioMD updates and more!
The well-received new format Poster Session will see a return and be scheduled again on Friday evening. Saturday morning will include another exciting Breakfast Symposium, while Sunday will feature a variety of Thieves’ Market cases. Take advantage of these unique learning opportunities as well as a chance to engage with your peers.
