Thank you for reading the ORA Summer 2020 newsletter. As you can see from the frequent updates on our website and email messages, we have been working away during the COVID-19 pandemic. From the Communications point of view, we have never been so busy!
At the height of the pandemic we were updating the website several times a day as well as sending out daily emails. My typing speed has definitely increased with all the practice.
We have information and links to outside resources regarding the COVID-19 pandemic on our website. These include links to government and other useful sites. Furthermore we have resources for office practice including financial matters. Did you miss Dr Zain Chagla’s virtual town hall on re-opening your practice? This is all on the website in the Members Section. So please log in and have a look!
Other recent news that may have been lost in the pandemic information flood that I’ll highlight: there is a new updated pJIA EAP form; there is a new rituximab biosimilar covered by Limited Use codes; EAP and private insurers have extended renewals for biologics; and the Arthritis Society is providing virtual care in addition to in-person services to help your patients via their Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program. Details for all these are on the website under News & Updates.
Lastly, if you have something you wish to share with other members or if you are interested in joining the Communications Committee, let us know!
