There is an important update on the Temporary Facilitated Access (TFA) mechanism for rheumatology, regarding the imminent changes on March 31, 2019. The ORA has been asked to pass along the attached letter from the EAP Executive Officer to our members. This is intended for “TFA-authorized prescribers.” However, it may be applicable to you, if you have patients 24 years of age and under on biologics. There is action that you may need to take to ensure that your younger patients continue to have coverage for biologics after April 1, 2019.
