The ACR has developed new guidance for rheumatology providers on the use of the COVID-19 vaccines for patients with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs). The recommendations focus on general considerations related to COVID-19 vaccination in RMD patients, disease- and timing-related considerations for specific patient groups, and timing considerations for vaccine administration and immunomodulatory medications.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinical Guidance Town Hall
The ACR is hosting a town hall on COVID-19 vaccine clinical guidance on Feb. 16, from 7:30–8:30 p.m. ET. Attendance is complimentary, but registration is required. Attendees can submit questions in advance that may be answered during the town hall.
