The mandate of the Ontario Rheumatology Association Development and Education Committee (ORADE) is to support ORA members and AHP colleagues in their professional development by offering educational grants. We are pleased to inform you that we have increased the number of Educational grants for 2020! The grants are available to ORA members and licensed AHPs working in a rheumatology setting to attend ANY international scientific rheumatology meeting or international course. Here is how the grants will be allocated:
International Scientific Meetings:
– 6 rheumatologists and 1 AHP to attend ANY 2020 international scientific meeting. Successful candidates will receive up to $5,000 CDN each
International Rheumatology-Related Courses:
– 5 rheumatologists and 1 AHP to attend ANY 2020 international rheumatology-related course. Successful candidates will receive up to $2,500 CDN each
To apply and for more information, please make use of the following links:
The deadline to apply is January 15, 2020.
A short summary report is required from all candidates who take advantage of this grant opportunity. Reports do not have to adhere to the ORA pillars. We want to learn about your professional interests!
If more than 1 application to attend the same event is received, each application will be adjudicated anonymously by the ORADE judging committee. We encourage everyone to act quickly in order to secure a grant.
Note: Executive Officers of the ORA are not eligible to receive an ORADE grant. Board of Directors members and Committee Chairs may apply.
